An expedition cruise to the Arctic offers great experiences for solo travellers, family holidays and group getaways. No matter what size your party, we’re happy to host you on your trip of a lifetime! Read on for more information.
The Arctic is the perfect place for a solo adventure! Jump on board with a maximum of 130 passengers, and enjoy an expedition to the wonderful Arctic. Whether out on the deck, in a Zodiac or in our communal bar and dining areas, you’re bound to strike up a conversation in no time.
Aurora Expeditions also offers a stateroom-sharing service for solo travellers, which means you can avoid paying single supplements if you are willing to share your stateroom with a fellow traveller. Our team will match you with another solo passenger of the same gender and if we can’t find anyone, you’ll still only pay the twin price.
The European Arctic, including Scotland and Norway, offers wonderful adventures for the ultimate family holiday. An active adventure for the curious young and old alike, there is definitely an Arctic itinerary to suit your family.
Please note, as our vessels are small, we are unable to provide any dedicated children’s entertainment facilities (apart from the spectacular view from the window!) or caring services on board. In the past, we’ve found that child expeditioners bring a wonderful sense of excitement to our voyages and our team and fellow passengers have greatly enjoyed having them aboard.
All children are required to be supervised by their guardians through the entire trip.
Aurora Expeditions are happy to welcome groups aboard our Arctic expeditions. From birding and photography clubs to university students and walking groups, we can cater for a wide range of interests and activities.
If you have a group of keen travellers interested in travelling to the Arctic, we are happy to discuss your options. For groups of 10 or more, we are happy to provide you with a special rate. Contact us for more details.
